Is your Internet Provider Overselling you on Services?

Here at Major Solutions we recommend businesses review their internet bill and determine if a change is needed. With increasing internet speeds some of the lower, less expensive packages may be sufficient for your business.

ISP (Internet Service Providers) do not focus on small business needs.

Our experience is that ISP sales reps will not ask you what your business does when they sell you services. They often push the largest package “deal” they have to offer.

In our experience, with 100’s of companies over 25 years, we have found that businesses with 10 computers or less that mainly use the internet on a limited basis to surf the web and check email may not need some of the high-end, high-speed services available.

We recommend businesses start at a smaller package and monitor to determine if you need to increase your speed/service. We have found that it is far easier to upgrade your internet package, but most ISP companies make it very difficult to downgrade your package. 

Biggest key point: Start small and grow when needed. Just like you did with your business.
